This portion of the assignment looks at the population and gender demographics for Southwest Asia. If you need a refresher on population pyramids, go to China’s Population Demographics. By studying the current population numbers and projections for the future, you will be able to predict consequences and make informed suggestions for solutions. By the end of this assignment, you should be able to:
- Analyze population pyramids to interpret and hypothesize the population age and gender composition in several Southwest Asian countries.
- Interpret numbers and proportions of males and females for each age group in Southwest Asian countries.
